Bus open data

The Bus Open Data Service provides high quality information about bus services in England. This helps passengers and the bus industry. The Bus Services Act 2017 requires all public bus operators in England to provide this information from 2020. It will eventually include route and timetable, fares and real time data. The new bus open data is freely available for anyone to use. The Bus Open Data Digital Service is the official government source for information about English bus services, providing a single location to discover and access data. Data is available through the web interface and through an API.
