2005 - 2010 Centre for Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (Cefas) Data Collection Regulation Survey, Qtr 1 (FSS: DCRDC)

Six surveys of a series to collect biological data on fish stocks in support of the EU Data Collection Regulation (DCR). Fishing was undertaken using a Portuguese High Headline Trawl (PHHT) and 4m Beam Trawl, using a subset of the station grid previously fished on Cefas Celtic Sea Groundfish Surveys. The station grid was not a fixed target and was deviated from as dictated by weather, catch rates and/or sampling needs.
